Hello,

Novice here so apologies if I use the wrong terms.

Currently we have a turbo top-loading wood burner with a stainless steel single skin flue exiting straight out the top of the stove. It then exits through the wall and joins to a double skin insulated flue on the exterior. All Poujoulat flue and joins (we live in France) and it burns very well. The only drawback is it takes small logs +/-25cm.

We want to change to another burner which is front loading with a glass door that takes bigger logs but this has a rear exit for the flue. It came with a black enamel T section that fits onto the stove exit. Is it okay to connect this enamel section to the stainless steel flue?

I think a few pictures of what you have now would help. Single wall stove pipe/ connector pipe and double wall chimney pipe are brand specific here in the US. Not sure about France. Also, changing from a top exit to a rear exit is most likely going to change your clearances to combustibles. The other issue might be adding a second 90 degree turn and already having one could cause a problem with drafting. Also in the US we can't run stove pipe through a wall and connect to double wall chimney pipe on the outside. Our connection to the chimney pipe must be made inside the house.

Yes, that's probably ok as long as clearance requirements are met or exceeded.
