Hello,
I am new to the forum. I am looking into adding a coal/wood hot air furnace. I was going to get the Harman SF-2500-A, but they are back ordered until January. The dealer that I went to recommend the Energy King 480EK as a alternative to Harman. Does anyone have any experience with Energy King?

Also I am a little confused. The SF-2500-A says that it will heat 3200 sqft with a BTU rating of 120K (blower 1000 sfm). The 480EK says that it heats an area of 2000 sqft with a BTU rating of 160K (blower 1850 sfm)

I would think the 480EK would heat more that 2000 sqft

My house is 2800 sqft

Thanks,
Dave
