You found a 25-ep that's BRAND NEW for $750??? WOW. That's an amazing deal, IMO. They are one of the newest pellet stoves Englander makes.

Have you seen the stove in person to verify it's brand new, and isn't just a really clean, re-painted, etc, used one??

It's not worth a darn......Tell me where it is and I'll do everything possible to make sure nobody else has to end up using it. LOL. If it is the real deal. GO FOR IT. If you don't tell me where it is............................

LOL.....yeah....if he wasn't in Missouri, I'd try to get it too....LOL.

However, the more I think about this 'deal", the more my fathers word come back to me...."if it seems too good to be true, then......" you all know the rest. Hope I'm wrong.

My Summers Heat is basically the same stove with a different name (for some reason Englander markets the same stove with 3 brand names). I've only had it for a couple of months, but I paid more than double what you are giving as a price. Unless you can see something blatantly wrong, you can probably fix it for less than the price of a new stove. Sitting here right now with outside temps of 18 and I'm roasting at 73 and the stove set on low. Granted my house is small, but for the price you can hardly go wrong.

I just purchased a Summers Heat 55 SHPEP. I installed it to the manufacturers guidlines. But no matter what setting I set the stove on my room does not get hotter than 66. The blower is just blowing warm air and is not hot at all. Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

Well I hope it's a good pick up for me the guy is bringing it to my home today. So hopefully I can get someone to help me move old one and install this thing today.

Brand new stove? If so something must not be right. Does your blower change speeds when you change heat settings? Maybe your heat exchange tubes are blocked by something?

So you got a brand new stove from "a guy" for $750. I think I asked this yesterday....did you actually see and inspect the stove to verify that it's brand new? Does it have all the paperwork, new OAK kit, etc, with it?

Just wondering how it's so cheap...those stoves are $2000 new at Home Depot or Lowes.

Well it is installed and working!!! Now hopefully the old well less than a year old pellet stove I had is sold.

I didn't look at it until the guy brought it here. Brand new all items in plastic bag in hopper. New oak kit and all.

Best to start a new thread on this one......

For $750 brand new it probably is a real hot one!

Told me he had bought two for his existing house but was moving into another house and wasnt going to need this one. So far I am very happy.

Congrats! Glad it worked out in your favor....I think you got the deal of the year so far.

Enjoy the heat!

Oh, and don't forget....we need to see pics, or it really didn't happen. :-)

I believe you. Anyone with that opportunity presented to him would want to assume the sellers story is true/accurate too.
However the fact remains that this is no ordinary bottom line stove either. If the original purchaser did in fact buy two , it`s hard to believe he would take such a loss. But I`ve seen stranger things in life.
Regardless , I would have jumped myself at that price. It`s a handsome looking stove for sure.

I have the samew exact stove that is brand new. Could you tell me what your settings are on it, and what the feed rate is in your picture. I called Englander today and they had me adjust my feed rate, but it still seems that I am not getting hot heat out of it. I am still burning pellets at a good rate, but only get luke warm air and room temp of 66.

That pic was with heat range on 4 the lower three control buttons are as follows 1/6/1 I think it is 6 if not 5. For some reason though I can't get them settings to change.

Why do you want to??? You just got the stove....burn it for a while and see how it works on the factory settings. Besides, on heat setting 4, bottom buttons don't do anything.

Yep, looks like mine, except you seem to be missing the fake logs that came with mine. Did you not receive them, or did you just not put them in?
(By the way, I'm still incredibly upset that you got such a good price! ;) I thought mine was a good price, but you topped me! )

Well I have had the stove burning for almost 48 hours and all I can say is this thing is AWESOME!!! I really like the design of this stove. I am really impressed with how well it burns up all of the pellets. I also like having the ash drawer. I had the summers heat model 55-SHP10 that I bought 2/09 and this is a very good stove as well I had it fine tuned very well and it cranked out some heat.

I did get the fake logs I just haven't installed them yet.

If you are looking to buy a stove and dont want to drain the checking account look at the 25-EP!!!!
