Englander stove Room air blower fan works sometimes....

I have a 25 IP, 55-SHPIP, 55-TRPIP ( pic below) and (as the title says) sometimes the room air blower fan operates and sometimes not, which is kind of scary to me. I know it only kicks on after it reaches a certain temperature.... but the stove can be burning for an hour and sometimes it will be going and sometimes not.... last night I was adjusting the fan speed and while it was working and it actually stopped.

I did the (broken link removed to https://heatredefined-net.reamaze.com/kb/25-ep/diagnostic-test-mode-ef4abea11022d2ce) and the blower seems to be a ok and blowing strong. Connections seem to be AO


my first thoughts are .....

-there must be a “fan on temp sensor” somewhere but I can’t locate it. Where is it and how do I check it?

-is there a setting that maybe I inadvertently changed?

Of course I am open to suggestions and any thoughts you may have.... many thanks and cheers it is Friday!

Not sure why it’s turned 90 counter clockwise but the temp senor is the white wire with a copper connector.....it looks like a ground to me. The connection seem fine there too.

That wire is the thermister it handles all the temperature controls, high limit, pof, convection blower. If the convection blower is intermittently turning off and on it would be the thermister or the control board.

Thanks for the info.... I did order a new one but can I circumvent it to be always on?

...also any idea what values that sensor should be??

Yes connect blower leads to a lamp cord and plug into wall. Will always be on and on high. I used to have the sheet but I can’t put my hands on it right now.

Ordered the thermistor part and it comes in today....which I will promptly install of course and luckily only takes 2 minutes to do.... fingers crossed it is that....

maybe I will take some resistance/ voltage readings to see what the values are..... for future reference....

Didn’t take any measurements but all is working.... and considering it’s going to be 10 balmy degrees tonight that’s a good thing.

Thanks for then help....in retrospect it had been failing for a while as some times it would unexplainably stop at start up....
