Enviro M55 - Possible Circuit Board Problem

Hi, I have a 5 year old FS Steel Enviro M55. Two nights ago it ran out of fuel and then it would restart the next morning. When you press the start button the fans kick on for about 2 seconds and then they stop and control panel goes blank. After two more second the lights on the control panel light back up. It's acts the same as if you unplugged it and plugged it back in two or three seconds later. Dealer say it might be the circuit board but can get one for a few weeks due to the holidays. Has anyone had this problem happen to them or had any other ideas? Thanks

I don't own this stove however before you buy one, you may want to try pulling it out and re-seating back in place. Could be just a bad contact.

Woodsy, I have an M55....not qualified in electronics but, there are I believe , 4 glass fuses. Maybe one blew.....?
Unplug....plug back in? Was the stove plugged in to a surge protector?
Hopefully someone will chime in.

I have unplugged the stove and have also tried a different outlet. I don't have it plugged into a surge protector. I'm going to dig into it a little further tonight. Check the fuses and see if there is any loose connections of visible damage to the circuit board.

In the past i've had a bunch of issues with the glass fuses that enviro uses. When a stove starts acting screwy i replace all the 3 amp fuse even if they look good. 9 times out of 10 there is a bad fuse that looks completely normal

Thanks for the input about the fuses. I looked at the board and the connections last night and everything looked fine(no damage to the board) and the fuses looked good but I will replace the fuses and see if that works. I would much rather it be a cheap fuse then a $400 board. Thanks

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the mother board ribbons and the daughter board also. Of course, with the stove unplugged.

If you have a volt meter, test the outlet and make sure nothing crazy is going on with the electricity. And put a surge protector ASAP.
