I have a Drolet Austral 70,000 btu EPA wood stove. I am in the planning stages of installing the stove. I know a guy thats getting rid of some old class A stainless chimney pipe thats maybe from the late 70's but in good shape. The problem is that he says that the inside diameter of the pipe is 6 1/2" and the outside diameter is 9". I have never herd of 6 1/2" inside diameter Class A stainless stove pipe. I have not seen the pipe yet and would like to. If in fact the pipe is 6 1/2 inside diameter would that be a problem since the stove calls for 6'' pipe. I am planning to have a chimney height of 17'.
