Did a search on HomeDepot.com and found latest models from ESW 25-EP,25-EPI. Nothing on Lowes site except for pellet vent pipe. I guess ESW needs to hire a webmaster to update their website too.

All my stove options from local dealers come in at $5k installed. Looking at pellet insert 25-EPI with DIY install ~3K. That is big savings. Catalog numbers are listed so I will be hitting local store this weekend to get more info. These stoves actually look nice, now have on/off instead of just high/low to control temps, and decent size: 40k BTU, 2000 sq ft. I wish the website gave more details in addition to the huge sales pitch. It is sad to describe the hopper as "holding more than a bag of fuel" but not list the actual size in the specs.

This might help you Linky Poo I think it is the same stove as your first link.

No, that is the 25-pi model and discontinued. The ESW website is not updated yet with new models. I called HD and they have printed info.

HD and Lowes stores don't know anything about the 25-epi model. Can't order it yet online or in store as the new numbers are not in their systems yet. Called the HD.com internet customer service and the system shows not available with no additional info. Even better, my local HD store has stoves on display but they are not for sale (no stock yet) just for show.

Mike! just at Home Depot and Lowes here in south central ct and still no stoves! They said a few weeks plus a few hundred $$$ incease over last year. This is one thing i dont like about the box stores! If its out of season your out of luck

if they aint there yet they are surely coming. plant is runnig virtually at capacity. hang in there. "we will build it , it will come " <chuckle>

as for the "EP " and "EPI" the stoves will be available in october according to our production manager. we had hoped to have them out sooner , but demand this year has made it tough to selectively produce. im anxious to see them hit the stores, i believe its going to be a great unit, got to watch R/D bring this together and it really impressed me.

i want one too

Enough of this EP and EPI stuff already. It is done and certified just waiting to hit the line. Get that hot shot new engineer working on sticking some reburn tubes in the top of the firebox on that wood furnace now. Heck the price of the thing has gone up six hundred bucks in the last two years, time to get it blowing clear fumes. Before I get too old to stoke the damned thing.
