Brazil started eucalyptus plantations on a couple hundred thousand acres to sell pellets and wood chips on the world market. They are suppose to have the highest BTU per pound, low processing cost, and replenish at 2 to 4 times faster than North American trees.

Has anyone seen eucalyptus pellets or chips yet?

The oils in eucalyptus must make for a nice smelling exhaust, but I wonder if the venting will eventually get "gunked" up.
