Excel metal roof flashing EMF_A_B_C

Heads up everyone who orders this flashing instead of the silicone boot from master flash

I did a dumb thing and placed my order before checking to see what excel's outer diameter chimney measurement is.

Excel: 6" inner x 8" outer.
Mine is 6" id x 10" od

Hey...I never claimed to be SMRT!

...yet another delay on the install.
(the roof brace arrived demolished and missing bits and pieces....waiting....sigh)

That's cuz you got triple wall pipe. If they have it for their 8" chimney, that would be 10" OD.

Well...ya there is that...but it's probably more direct and truthy to say I did a dumb thing and didn't think it through first.

So the next person searching through the forum for info on this flashing ....do your thinkin' upfront and don't "Pull a Morpho"
