Exterior wood box door

We have an exterior wood box door on the outside of our chimney. We can access the wood from the inside through another glass door next to the wood stove. Needless to say, after 34 years, it needed some attention. Rustoleum primer and paint to the rescue. Came out really good.

That is very nice. It might be something others would like to build. Can you give us a few dimensions. Outside door and interior box. A picture of the inside would help to.

Here’s some pics of it from the inside of the house. Plus the inside of the box. It’s 3 1/2 feet deep 2 foot wide and 2 1/2 feet tall. All brick on the inside. The wood stove insert sits just off to the left. I can get about 3-4 days worth of wood in there, depending on the temp.
