After months of research and indecision we finally purchased a Blaze King Ashford 30.2. We had narrowed it down to the Lopi LibertyHybrid with its huge fire box (ability to handle larger wood),large glass door and great looks verses the Blaze King Ashford, great cast iron looks and ability to burn low and slow but smaller fire box. In the end we went with the Ashford because our home is newer, super air sealed and very well insulated. Had a hard time finding anyone burning the new Liberty hybrid to see how low you could really shut it down. From all my research I don’t think you can go wrong with either stove, Lopi and Blaze King both have outstanding support and both companies reached out to me directly to answer questions or concerns. It also helped that our dealer was having an anniversary sale and we were able to get the Ashford out the door including tax and shipping for $4,500, plus we will get the 30% fed tax credit making our finial cost $3,150 couldn’t find a used one for that around here. Thanks again, this site has some amazing & knowledgeable posters
