im installing a new pellet stove through our porch roof so it will be vented over the porch not inside it, one question i had is below.
I have an extra 4 inch duravent wall thimble, is it possible to use that as a roof support bracket instead of buying one(they don't look all that different except for the metal piece that goes through the wall? I'm looking to use as much of the extra pipe / chimney pieces i have as possible but will buy the roof support if needed. Any thoughts would be welcome.
