Today I get a message from a friend on FB saying that he noticed that I like to collect firewood. He went on to say that he owns six acres and has been doing some select tree felling and left it in the woods. He asked me if I had any interest in the wood, DUH! I tell him yes and he sends me the location and tells me to take all that I want. SWEET, I knew those pictures of my stacks would pay off.

Gonna be able to check it out & get us some pictures soon?
Nice score, I think.

Make my scores seem weak. Yeah from my postings of wood and fire in the stove I gotten a few messages through FB from friends getting trees trimmed or removed asking if I wanted it. They say the best way to overcome negativity is to double the positivity, so I post happy thoughts of wood, and fire to combat others baby momma drama.

The simple way to deal with all that crap is not to go to the website. I check it once a week or once every two weeks. I have 300+ friends on there and am pretty sure that if I stated I needed firewood I would have wood coming out my ears. I asked a couple friends to keep their eyes out for downed trees in summer 2011 and I had to turn stuff away because I could not process everything that was coming my way.

Everything has its uses, if one knows how to use them correctly.

Not that I'm wanting to make this about FB but I block those that have more drama than an A&E movie and hide the posts of others.

Six acres! That's great. So far I have only picked up tree trimmings from my Facebook friends but they all know that I'm always looking for firewood.

it's all about who you know!
