faulty circuit boards for lopi yankee bay insert?

my dealer is saying that a TS bulletin came out for replacement of the circuit boards as they were faulty. I called Lopi and they advised the circuit boards were reissued, but that only the labeling was changed (from "fault" to "maintenance") next to the light. Lopi said there were no faulty circuit boards - only updating the labeling on the boards themselves to prevent confusion. Has anyone heard of this? trying to get the right answer....while waiting for repair of the stove
