What a week, had an attic blast cold front come through Texas over the weekend woke up stove had 6 blink. Normally when I get this my chimney cap is to dirty. Went up on roof saw it was clogged did 1 ton cleaning and 2 days later stove started burning real dirty and will shut off every 1-2 hours 6 blink code.
Noticed auger feeds real slow, emptied hopper vacuumed it out cleaned auger face with wire brush.
Noticed fine box wasn’t on properly removed vacuumed out put on properly, stove burns a lot cleaner but got 6 blink code after 45 mins.
Pulled stove again pulled esp cleaned and lightly scraped with razor blade to remove carbon ring changed setting from room temp to stove temp 6 blink after 2 1/2 hours.
Ordered x2 ESP probes from Pellethead comes in on Friday. I have been turning off auto igniter to let stove burn through the night. As a precaution I also ordered a new auger motor and new exhaust motor. I just replaced distribution blower last month.
Stove runs but has a deep rumble like a slow moving freight train. Am I missing something to look at it? Stove will burn bright yellow with several finger flames but after about 2 hours goes to orange lazy flame.
OAK kit installed, 4” straight up chimney through roof approximately 10’ in length, burning pine pellets not best but in Central Texas I have few choices TSC or Atwood’s (currently using Atwood’s house brand softwood. Was using TSC Patterson premium pine when the problem started so switched pellets. Earlier in the season was using Pennington hardwood (Atwood’s is sold out so I can’t get those)
