Need to replace the "fire blanket" (its all ripped up) that sits on the top of my baffle on my Regency R14. What type of material is this and should i be able to find at a fireplace store? It was pretty tore up so I dont know how big a piece to put back in .......advice????

It's probably a ceramic fiber. Some call it rock wool. You may be able to contact a Regency dealer and get a direct replacement. At our shop, we keep rolls of it handy and sell it for about $20 per square foot, for folks who don't feel like ordering. If you want to find a Regency dealer, you can go to their website and use the dealer locater

I purchased some high temp insulation form Mcmaster carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#
I have also seen it on EBay a bit cheaper perhaps.
