I have a mendota NG fireplace with an Ambient remote contro that came with the FP. I'm not happy with the remote and am looking for suggestions for a replacement. It is not dependable, sometimes it shuts off when it reaches correct temperture, some times it doesn't. It is too tempermental, just picking it up will activate controller. I want something I can depend on every time, and not come back into the room and find it 20 degrees over set temp. I need something dependable.
I would also like to go with 110V rather than batteries.
Anyone have a great remote they would recommend?
Thanks for your help.
Don
