A guy called into our local radio trading post, oak and hickory for $35. Had it left over from the winter and didn't want it sitting around all summer. Too good to be true! $35!!

After you loaded it and payed him, did you give him the lecture of how its a good idea to let it dry for 2 years? And how much better its going to burn when its dry?;)

Nope, I didn't waste my breath. It would have been pointless in this instance!
 
Yeah you would have just got the don't burn pine speech but nothing about burning green hardwood
