Hey guys. We moved into our dream home our in the woods last year and the home came with two pellet stoves. I went to clean the stove pipes to get ready for the cold season and noticed that the inside of the clean out and inside the pipe is wet. I went on the roof and checked and can’t see where moisture would be getting in. We haven’t used the stoves since before the summer. I read that there can be moisture issues but just want to make sure I just need to clean it or is there something more I need to do? Thanks for your time

Welcome to the forum!
Driving rain will get into the chimney sometimes
and keep the ash wet for some time in the summer.
Clean the chimney and stove start a fire and drive any moisture out
