I have a grandma bear stove. The smoke baffle has burned through and I want to remove it to replace it. Is there an easy way to remove the old one? I would like to replace it with the fire brick shelf so it would be easy to repair and maintain.
yes the baffle had warped with a hump under the flue pipe last year and now has burned through. It has a hole about 3" across. I've set a fire brick over it
