Flashing Options for Corrugated Metal Roof?

Hello All,

I'm getting ready to install my new (to me) wood stove. I'll be gathering materials soon and could use a little help choosing the flashing.
I have a corrugated metal roof, over an old shingle roof.
These are the options I've been looking at:

I'm leaning toward the metalbestos aluminum base flashing as I'm fearful of the lifespan of the silicone flashings.

Has anyone used any of these products?
Are there better options?

Any help would be fantastic.

We had a fellow go through this several years ago. He ended up using the silicone boot for better longevity. I hadn't seen the metalbest product. One concern I would have would be galvanic reaction between the aluminum base and the roof, but maybe that is not an issue? I think they are pretty close galvanically but don't take my word as gospel. If you do choose this flashing, here is a better priced link:

I'd be concerned about the galvanic reaction & do further research on the reaction of the 2 different metals.

After a little research, I confirmed they are ok:

Theory predicts that Aluminum and galvanized steel are compatible. These materials are adjacent to each other in the galvanic scale (e.g. Jones [1], pg. 169). The presence of aluminum coupled to the galvanized steel increases the current density (corrosion rate) of the zinc by only 0.1% to 1% (aluminum is the cathode, or protected side of the couple) (Jones [1], table 6.17, pg 184). This increase in the corrosion rate of zinc is negligible, and therefore, the contact between the aluminum and galvanized steel does not accelerate significantly the corrosion of either material.

ICC Excel makes a couple as well. I copied from their EMFA-B-C design. My location near the peak made things easier. Their ELFA-B-C is their flexible type.

I flashed mine with the icc flashing pictured by gasavage. My roof is a 4/12 pitch You can cut the bottom out for the ribs in the roofing and it tapers to flat at the top to slide under the sheet of roofing. Camp has a flexible rubber boot and just doesn't work as well. but the camp roof is very steep.

thanks gasavage for the pic, A picture is worth a thousand words, I have the same kind of roofing you have gasavage I order the rubber boot kit but i would like to install a cap like yours on it. I know over time rubber will crack and break down but maybe taking some clored metal and bending and notching it out would really look pretty good thanks for the help guys.

I just did this a few weeks back, though with standing seam metal rather than "barn roofing" stuff. I used the silicone Best Materials version and it worked well. I decided to run butyl rubber "tape" for sealant, putting it down first, then the boot onto it. I haven't used any of the specific-for-currugated boots, but I can't believe they would be a problem. Whatever you do, don't scrimp on this to save money. A leaky installation can be extremely difficult to fix after the fact. Ask me how I know.
