Season one went EXTREMELY well. Put 120 gallons of oil in & have 3/4 of a tank remaining. I want to add panel radiators. Need to do a heat loss. Any calculators out there please let me know. I have a big family room that's the coldest but I know it could be better.

I want to design the addition of the radiators at 140℉ water. I've looked into the following:

Heating alternatives - Steve was great
Pensotti
Stelrad
Myson
Buderus

Can't decide on which to go with. Looking for best warranty, customer service, better btus/price.

Thanks in advance for all advice.

Gary

I scored some really odd sized CI radiators for a room we all call "man town". As old as they are there was not a single trace of a leak. Low, wide, and deep is going to be perfect for the room.

Dropping them off at the sand blasters next week who will also prime coat them. Vote was to paint them in copper. Should look sharp with all the glass in the space as well as golden stained #2 knotty pine.

We have been well served by Pensotti radiators. I have heard good things about hydronic alternatives too.

That's good to hear. Hydronics alternatives were great. The ONLY reason I even looked at pensotti was a 10 yr warranty vs 5 at HA. Then I noticed the BTUS were higher with pensotti as well.
