The trim surround does look good and makes it look more finished. Brass edge trim ties in nice with the door like you thought it would.

Holy inferno Batman - this thing puts out heat! I had a nice coal bed going last night and when I put a couple of new splits in it just looked like the infamous fires of hell scene with flames everywhere inside the box - very cool!
