What american company makes flue pipe with an access cover for cleaning? I have found some companies on the net that sell it but they all seem to be in europe. Is it illegal to have somethign like this here? Picture for reference. I am looking for 6" single wall pipe. Any information would be helpful.

Funny - that seems like such a simple idea that on the surface seems to make sense to me. Can't wait to hear what folks have to say about it. Sure seems as though it may make cleaning out stove connector a bit easier if one could avoid having to disconnect completely from the stove.

Haven't seen one of these on this side of the pond. Normally a tee with a cap is used for a cleanout. If you are handy with aviation snips it looks like it would be pretty easy to make one up.

The stack from my stove comes out the back of the stove straight up. I guess a damper pipe would work, But the pipe with the access hatch just seems so much easier. an less work to replace. No cutting sizing, etc. I can build one, and line it with the door gasket rope, just wondering why no one makes a pipe like this.

This place sells all kinds of pipe with accecss doors, straight runs, elbows, but they are in england. I can't seem to find the corporate website for the manufacturer (Vitreous) anywhere on the net. kinda wierd.
