Been quite a while since posting. Big Windhager pellet working great. But about 3 years ago the loading valve on the Biomass died. Appears no one makes loading valves anymore. Miss burning wood on week ends. Biomass 60 working fine. Seems a shame to take to the dump. Gonna buy a new Froling to compliment the Pellet boiler. Anyone want a free boiler? Served our home for many years. Larry

That is one generous offer to someone getting into wood burning...
Hopefully it finds a home to heat for the next season

I saw New Horizon is shutting down. Mine would be good for parts at least.

Salecker, I remember you from back in the years I was very active here. Best wishes

Yes been here for a while
Keep checking in to keep learning
One day I'm sure i will have to replace the Econoburn, so keeping up on different choices is important as the next boiler will probably be the last one
I think you could go with a near boiler pump instead of a loading valve on the biomass
Froling is on my short list. I don't think Econoburn ever got re certified over covid, i was talking to them at the time and they were having issues getting tested.

Yeah. Bought mixing valve and pump to replace the loading unit. I just want to upgrade probably the new Froling S5. Probably my last boiler also unless the Windhager goes south. It’s wonderful. Love running pellets, but I have enough downed wood on my property for 20 homes!
