Has anyone used them or heard of them ??? The Home Depot by me usually has stove chow which works great in my stove but they just received these in and no other store has ANY pellets available

Our HD in Mohegan Lake (Upper Westchester) had these for a while at the end of last season. Of course I tried a couple of bags - nothing special. Not the hottest pellets I have burned and not the dirtiest, but would never be my first (or probably 2d/3d) choice.

A couple years ago they were common at HD here in Mass. Nothing special. Lots of ash. Average heat.

Burned some about 8yrs.ago...First and last time, more ash than heat...If that's all you can find in your area burn em, otherwise pass em by...

Check the PFI label. They sell a 100% softwood and a blend pellet. The parent company also sells softwood horse bedding. Last year the softwood ones were decent. Small pellets, fed fast, burned hot, acceptable ash.

There larger in size, really just horse bedding in a different bag

I seem to recall seeing those at the Highland NY Tractor Supply during the tail end of the season last year
