From old to new.

The old hearth was a nasty, old school brick look. We just finished remodeling it. We just tiled directly over the brick, then framed in and sheet rocked the upper brick section. Adding a mantel at the end.

Much better now.

Looks vastly better! Amazing how it makes the stove look better also.
