It looks like I am going to need to cement my vent pipe into my stove collar.

Is there any difference between Rutland and Imperial furnace cement,

in relation to how easy one is to break loose,

In case i need to remove the pipe later on?

Any of them will crack very quickly they don't deal with expansion and contraction well. Gasket works better

Thanks for the reply bholler

It is about a 1/8" gap, figured cement would do.

What type of gasket material do you suggest, is door gasket material ok?
