New to the forum (be nice to me). I'm installing an outdoor fire pit. Ordered the high output 30" burner from American Fireglass. All information shows a ¾" gas line is required. I ran a 1" csst line from meter to pit connecting to a ¾" valve. From there another ¾" csst line to burner. The pan for the burner is fitted with a ½" nipple with 2 reducers that go from ¾" to ½" then ½" to ¾" at the burner.
Upon making serval calls to supplier, they say the ½" nipple is standard.
Question is, won't this reduce the overall performance of the unit?
Or should I remove the ½ nipple & replace with ¾?
Thanks
