I thinkthats briggs

can't remember the model but i used to work for a place that had one powered by a 18 horse honda v twin

Generac subs out just like everyone else. Could be a variety of different configurations.

I have a Generac not sure of the model, I think it's a 5 or 6KW, and it has a Briggs "Intek" engine on it, I think it's about 10hp (The thing is out in the portable garage, and I ain't going out there to check for certain...)

Mine sports a Briggs & Straton 10 HP. Easy to start and not too bad on the fuel consumption either.

I have the 8kw portable. Not sure but think it's a Briggs.

Gma just bought the Generac 20/18Kw Guardian series generator yesterday. It's got some sort of air cooled V-twin in it. website doesn't indicate the maker, just calls it the "Generac OHVI". I'll take a look-see at it when she gets it installed and report back.

cost her 4490+tax AND she got a $200 gift card to Blain's Farm & Fleet (that's where she bought it). That seems like a decent buy for such a big generator with good reviews.
