It's too bad I have two 30 degree elbows, because it only works in a straight up chimney.

Does anybody have this?

Wow. what a cool concept. I wonder if it works as well in practice as it does in theory. Sure would be a nifty little thing to have around.
 
I am afraid with all that crap in a chimney you might have to disasemble to clean your cleaning kit. I cant brush my stack without first removing the pipe from the stove top. If I do it will drop soot on the cat bypass door gumming it up.
 
So the lower pulley stays there all the time? And it's rated for only 225F? Looks like that would give out rather quickly. And wouldn't that interfere with draft?

Edit: that's the top pulley, my bad. Still, I wonder about the draft.
