Just finalizing my pellet stash for this coming winter. Still need one more ton and I'll be good to go. Thought I would share my pellets ...
Michigan wood fuel is made in Holland, Michigan Wood Pellets is made in Grayling. I buy whatever is cheaper and easier to get my hands on. Harman doesn't care what is used.Yeah, will use the Michigan's during the not so bitter months. Probably Oct, Nov. MWP, are those Michigan pellets like the ones I have ? Or something different ?
Pile 'em up a little higher you could save a lot of floor space ...................
Yeah, good idea. When i get my next ton I will probably stack'em evenly across all four stacks ...
)I stack 2 tons on a pallet all the way to the ceiling. Haven't had any issues so far.
I use a ladder to get the last few rows up top. During burning season I have to get the ladder out and bring ~10 bags off the top at a time until the stack gets low enough to reach. I like to keep the footprint as small as possible. My ceiling ain't that high, otherwise I would. Well, maybe not, I'd have to get another ladder just for when I get pellets to load the stoves. But then again, I'm always looking for an excuse to get some exercise . . .
