Glaze inside stove

late last burning season I experimented with lower burn temps in my insert. I got a a bit of glazing on the inside back of stove. Intended to have some hot fires that would burn it off but a fair amount of it remained. In this off season from the stove, should this be removed or is it fine to just leave it until the fall when I can again try to to cook it off? I ask because it is pretty hard to remove when I had toughed it with poker. Chimney liner was free of any glaze, BTW.
 
I'd leave it, burn short hot fires in the fall, it shouldn't be caustic if that's what your thinking.
