Hi all,

New to this forum and gas stoves in general. I have a Godin 3427 Gas stove I purchased used. This model has a Mertik control GV30 valve.
When starting the stove - it starts ok. Pilot lights and also the main burner. However, the fire decays rather rapidly, ~15-20 minutes and remains low/off only. The stove doesn't fire to high fire despite the low room temperature but only starts up to low. Sensor is relatively away from the stove. My gut feeling is that the gas valve isn't setup/tuned correctly or that it is worn.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Thanks.
