I just bought a used Godin Jurassien stove. I have many questions about how to start a fire, can it last a night what is the heating capacity with red oak and or anthracite. Is a blower a good thing? The previous owner said that although it is recommanded to burn nut size slow burning anthracite she did not like it as pieces of anthracite would fall into the ashpan without burning. I plan to heat a new two storey house with the stove.
