I'm on the hunt for a stove for a tiny house on wheels, about 150 ft². I've used a couple smaller morsos in former tiny houses and they're great, but really overkill. I reckon a very small firebox is not a problem, as these houses are well insulated and ridiculously easy to heat, and I prefer that it cools off at night for sleeping anyway.
Anyone know of any great quality wee stoves out there? I know a few brands and models, but might have missed some.
If you have any experience with any, please comment, positive or negative.
Thanks

150 square feet. Here ya go

If the temp goes below 10 degrees fahrenheit, use two of these stoves

150 sq ft will be easy to heat if the cabin is well insulated. Refrigeration, lighting, electronics and body heat will help keep it warm. If a very small space if it is well sealed the main concern could be adequate air exchange.

Wohnen Sie in Deutschland?

Haha. Ja, Ich wohne hier, bin Amerikaner und trinke kein Bier.
Wood stoves are really heavily controlled here. They MAKE you pay a guy to check your chimney 4 times per year. Stoves have to be super tight. They grandfathered cookstoves in, and older ones are ok for a while still, then kaput. Gotta get a new one. My tiny house is pretty exempt from all that, luckily.
Finding a place to live in one is another nightmare though. Rules rules rules. These people are crazy for them.
Oddly, there's plenty of horrendously polluting old giant whole-house-heating wood burners out there. When they crank up, they fill entire valleys with smoke in winter. I don't know how it's allowed. I guess they pass the laws, but just still suck when not burning hot. It can burn your eyes, it's so heavy sometimes.

Cooking will heat up the place quickly, but then what? A wood stove's mass is going to stay hot.

There are several past discussions here about heating a tiny house. Search on - Tiny House. Note that the options will all be for America and these stoves may not sell in Germany. Are there good European tiny house websites that may be good resources for your search? Maybe contact this fellow in Switzerland? This is a very tiny space.

Hehe. Actually I drank about 3 or 4 in 5 years here, my gf bought me Radlers, they're half lemonade. Yum. :) Never liked alcohol, for some reason.

Ja, I only cook on it when using it for heat. Use an electric burner in warmer months. That's how I did it in my last tiny house. That looks like the size for me. :)

The german TH website has a thread about stoves, most are pretty big. Didn't spot any wee ones, outside one from UK, whose seller I find dodgy.

Thanks, looking at those. Are these wee ones efficient at all? I don't see any ratings at all. Are they required to have a rating in the US? I forget.

I think a 9.1kw stove would require windows open even at -10C. That's a lot of heat.

These are not EPA approved. When this tiny they are for a specialty application, typically marine.

Whoops... I missed the house is 150 sq feet and not sq meters...

150 sq feet is about the nominal size for a tiny house, or at least that is my understanding. My friend Barkley had a custom small house built about three years ago, 153 sq feet floor plan. I was in it during his house warming when new. It was interesting, but very crowded once the party started and the house was a rockin. Dancing, drinking and other adult nefarious activities. Then after a few hours, someone went into the bathroom and let loose a hellacious dump. Blew the house out. The women were the first to leave, followed by everyone else. Barkley has since had a high powered fan exhaust system installed in the bathroom. I do know he heats with electric and the tiny house is well insulated, and now the bathroom is well ventilated. Manly :)

I had a small house, 1100 square feet, it was about the right size for me. Then my girlfriend moved in and it was too small. No privacy.
So two years ago I built a 900 sq. ft addition, now there is some breathing room for a man, just right for me.

I don't see how these married couples can live in a 250 sq ft house.

I can handle 150 alone, I'm simple and outdoors a lot.
Ja, I'd never install a bathroom in my house. Outhouse outside for me, or nearby house. You can fan out the immediate stink, but you're still sitting on a pile of chit under a flap, at best. No thanks.
I couldn't live in 250 with another person either, that's crazy. No privacy at all. Maybe a certain personality type can manage that though.

no bathroom in the house.

I rest my case.

I dont get why everyone judges tiny home owners. If it works for them great why does it matter to anyone else

Baggillions of them all over, people living in them all the time. They’re usually called RVs. Very very few have woodstove heat since the cooking fuel of choice is propane and it doesn’t take much propane to heat 150 sf.
