Found some disturbing bends in my heat deflector. Is this a warranty issue? Can i sandwich and bolt a stainless steel plate to both sides? The first picture is from the inside of the stove looking out. Supprised its only welded in a few spots.

It is pretty common we typically cut them out and bolt in the new stainless ones. And yes it is a warrantee issue.

Thanks Bholler. What do you bolt it to? Do you have to weld clips onto the stove

No you drill and tap holes. The same as the redesigned stoves.
