I just saw this by accident:

Nice. They are pretty, but I think it is a little high for the price, seeing as you have to pull it out for them and all. Also, I would check for warping, that seems to be the common complaint of these inserts, and might be why they are getting rid of it. Not to say that would be the reason, but it is worth a check. Just my opinion, mind you.

Did notice the handle. I'd like that myself.

The handle is nice. Mine is black.
I was referring to the lattice design.

Didn't realize that the newer ones didn't have it. What I liked about the HI300 was the nice large viewing door, and of course the majolica finish on some of them. I went with the Alderlea, and was not disappointed.

I like the ability to load N/S.
Seems like you can fit more wood in there, esp. compared to my last one.

Mine loads n/s, but I'll be darned if I can fill it up the way I want to! ;lol Wouldn't it be nice to be able to load a stove once a day in the coldest weather? Hmmm...self-loading stove...wish I were an inventor (broken image removed)

My Hampton H200 had a black handle when it arrived and I really wanted the wood handle they still show on their website, so I ask my dealer and it was still available. Wasn't to expensive.
