First timer with a wood stove. I’ve had a pellet stove and an inefficient open fireplace before.

In the 30s last night. Not a tough test, but I’m still so happy with the heat output. Loaded it up with elm last night. Family room and upstairs were nice and warm in the morning with a good amount of coals. Something about the nice, quiet heat.
That’s all. Just sharing.

Looks alot like the Indiana limestone I used for my hearth.
