I am installing a new p35i with 4 inch adapter on stove
Duravent adapter is very loose and has no seal at all
I am afraid smoke will enter house
All my other vent pipe has red seal inside to make good seal

Yeah, the adapters are loose. you will need to RTV it in place, and maybe even put in a screw or two if the inlet pipe has holes for it. I also wrap the outside of the connection with Silicone tape to ensure a good seal. Not sure why the Harman adapters are loose, but it was that way with both my stoves.

Will do..
