Install Question for Harman XXV direct vent

I have a harman xxv that I want to install. I am looking to install via direct vent straight out of the back of the stove. So basically stove adaoter to 3” pellet pipe through wall thimble out 18” and then a horizontal chimney cap. So than install would be all horizontal.

I have a stud in the way of centering the stove on the wall. I am looking to add pipe to transition around the stud to exit out.
My question is, can I use two 45 s with a 6” pipe in between to vent horizontally direct vent?
So it would be appliance adapter, 45, 6” pipe, 45, wall thimble, 18” pipe, horizontal chimney cap.

Not sure I can do this with the horizontal setup that I want.

Looking at the install manual, Harman strongly suggests outside air be installed with all venting if possible. I've seen people do what you are asking, it will probably work seeing as the exhaust is pushed out via the blower. I'd suggest 4" pellet venting, even on the shorter runs. The stove breathes easier, and can go longer in between exhaust piping cleanings. The manual suggested installs did not include what you are asking, only straight out the back, even then had outside air suggested. Can the stove be physically moved forward a bit to get around offending stud? Something to consider.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I plan on using an oak kit. I’m just trying to center the stove on the wall. I think even if I moved the stove further off the wall the exhaust will interfere w the stud. The exhaust is not offset like other models. It is directly in the center lower aspect of the stove.

Oh, sorry thought this was probably a corner install. I think what you are planning would work fine, espec if you are doing outside air. Remember too, there is minimum that pipe needs to be above grade outside too (12" IIRC).
