Did a big clean on my p35i last night. Buttoned everything up and a 4 blink status. Room temp sensor malfunction. I traced the wire as best I could and looked at the manual. I think I pinched it somewhere, or the sensor could be bad? If it's pinched, I'm thinking I can just patch it up with a butt connector. These are 18 gauge as far as I can tell. Im not heart broken if she can't be fixed. New one is only 20$. I'm not an expert at schematics and could be following the wrong one. Does anyone have a picture of the RTS wire and where it leads to or a better explanation of the schematic for dummies like me.... I've got it by passed running on constant burn for the time being. Thanks folks. Tyler

Here's a picture of the wire: http://www.stove-parts-unlimited.com/Harman-Room-Sensor-p/3-20-00906.htm
A look at the control board shows the black ESP connection; the room temp sensor is at the opposite end of the board (spade connectors). Schematics and photos agree...

Might want to ensure spade connectors are secure on the sensor wire and make good contact... Keep us posted!

That right there is the first thing I would check. don't just look at them, remove and reinstall. Also, on my P61, I've had the whole assembly at the back of the stove work its way out (It had help, just difficult to explain the circumstances, so won't try). Just give it a little nudge to make sure it is seated - if it wiggles, nudge it around and you can feel when it sets in place.

The inserts extend the RSP with two blue wires that appears twisted or braided. This extension is necessary so the stove can be slid out on the rails for servicing. You should be able to trace that back to the control board to be sure you are looking at the correct wires. Then follow them out to the RSP. There will be two connections from the blue wires to the RSP. Those have been known to come apart if pulled on too much.
