Shut the stove down, empty the hopper, turn it on test mode to get all the pellets out of the tube. Unhook the two connectors, take the fines cover off and rotate the slide plate arm out of the way. Loosen the bolt on the shaft and slide off auger motor. Then after that it's just two bolts on the auger plate and your good.
Thanks hoot! I know some year I am going to have to remove the auger and I have been dreading it. Hopefully I can locate this thread when that time comes.
When you pull it ,try to see where its making contact with the auger tube. Clean it up with a file. Its moving pellets so the fit doesn't need to be so tight.
