My dad's Harman P68 stopped feeding pellets this morning, the auger was not moving. I cleaned out the area below the slide plate which had a build up of fines. No response from the auger. We removed the auger motor, cam block and bracket with grommet to clean them up and check for issues. We tested the motor with direct current, the fan and shaft worked. When re-installing we realized we neglected to take photos of how things went back together, it seemed intuitive but we've tried several times with no luck. At one point the auger was moving but it made a loud pop or clunking noise and an arm between the flange and bracket looked like it was jumping in place. In the current configuration the cam block shifts a bit at start up like its going to move but it stops & the auger doesn't turn.

We have something out of whack between the motor and the flange. I'm not finding any videos that breakdown this exact process. The closest schematic I've found is 008280309 but this is missing the arm that sort of rotates up and down on/with the cam. We have also cleaned out the tube to the pressure switch though it wasn't really dirty, we jumped around the pressure switch as well with no results. This P68 was bought new in 2010. It was cleaned after his last ton of pellets.

We are expecting 12-15" of snow tomorrow along with temps at 0 so I'm in a time crunch. The nearest repair place will not be available for several days and they are 2 hrs away with minimum $250 call out. He has a furnace but being on blood thinner means he's really struggling with being cold. Any help is appreciated.

The roller is hitting the arm I’ve circled. The arm hesitates and thinks.
The slide plate has up and down on it, and I believe the flat side should be down. Make sure it's still flat and not binding. I wish I know that setup better, but you can't see in there. Operate it without pellets looking into the fines box and down the hopper hole.

Will do, thanks!

It seems to me like like that curve should be facing the the roller

The curved arm hasn’t been moved or adjusted. Do you think the roller needs to be swapped someway?

I have no idea - just commented on what it "looked like" to me. If it was working fine before, then perhaps not. Neither of my stoves have that same arm (both are different shaped), so can't give a comparison.
