this is my 4th year with the stove and am burning LeCretes is this normal or is something wrong it seems like the ash and soot is alot more black in Color ! Thanks for your input

Could be the pellets but when was the last time you cleaned the exh system? Usually mid winter cleaning ia close to this time of year.

I have done the exhaust cleaning once this season ,Im leaning towards pellets but maybe a good gasket??

Maybe the pellets then, like FSU that leave darker ash than most. But yeah, it's always worth checking the gaskets.
