Harmen Accentra Insert - making loud noises

Hi everyone,

We have a Harmen 52i Accentra Insert that's been making some intermittent loud rattling noises that I think are coming from the distribution blower. It's like 10 seconds normal, 10 seconds loud. We just gave it a thorough cleaning last week and the noise stopped until this morning.

Any suggestions?

Specific to a certain setting? Potentiometers on the board do fail and will leave "dead" spots at a commonly used setting. Board repair services can fix that problem...

Taken the surround off to help determine specific component that is making the noise?

If the noise is coming from the distribution blower look for pellets in the fan maybe.
