The bolt on my front door latch broke. The catch is at one side and the handle is on the other. Part # is I 93-58324. 1986 model brownstone manual - I doubt I can find replacement. Any ideas? Any latch from another model that might work?

I'm in this same delema and thinking the
Vermont Castings 0000836 would fit. Does anyone else have any insight on this or op, were you able to find a better solution?
