I have this Heat&Glo gas stove that I can't find the data plate on it so I can find what model it is. Had it serviced a couple weeks ago and they couldn't find it either but apparently the previous owners took out the blower motor on it or never had one installed, yet there's a cord right there for it. I'd like to put one back in. I've found some universal ones on amazon but if possible I'd like to put a factory one in it just to not have to retrofit something in.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Nothing is impossible. If you have a telescoping stove pipe, it will be easy to disconnect from the stove and move the stove to the front, so you have rear access.

The blower kits for HnG units cost about $300. You'd probably get
more air movement with a box fan sitting on the floor, blowing air
TOWARDS the stove. A ceiling fan is also very helpful if there is one
in the room.

I have one similar but not the same. I think mine is a Townsend. I have no user manual but do have an install manual. Mine has the controls on the bottom. I have a question about the blower. I don’t have one but I believe I could get one that installs on the rear back. Does the blower normally pull air from the back and push it out underneath or to the sides. Or does the blower pull air from below and over the back of the stove? Just trying to figure out the blower location and direction of air travel, as I might have to kludge something. I’m finding the heat output not as good as a Valor Madrona I used to have that had no blower, but wondering if a blower/fan would improve things. When you described a box fan on the floor blowing air onto the stove, do you mean directly underneath at the back, or front, etc.?
Thanks…Roger

Try the fan in a couple of locations to see which one works best for you. All rooms are different & if my fan works best blowing air towards the stove, yours may not. I checked Heat & Glo website & didn’t see a blower option for the Townsend…
