Buying a Heat N Glo Slimline 9 for a new house, local fireplace shop advised through builder that using the clean face kit would add significant maintenance costs due to time required to remove and service. From the manual it seemed like it simply lifted up and would be very easy to remove for service but wanted to see if anyone had experience/opinions on this vs the standard face option. thanks!
