Home Depot in Middletown NY has Heat'rs pellets by Forest Energy Corp.
Anyone ever try them?
Good or bad?
I've got a bag in my P43 burning right now. They seem to be burning pretty hot.
Supposedly they are pine

Thanks for your reply.
I picked up a ton, and they seem to be burning great.
Gonna grab 2 more this weekend and I should be good for the winter

HD in Mohegan Lake has then as well. I tried a few bags, liked them way more than the filthy burning Green Supremes and now have 4 1/2 tons of them stashed away. My HD has a 2 ton limit so I bit the bullet and made 2 separate orders with 2 separate delivery charges, and have been bringing 8/10 bags home at a time in th car whenever I pass by. Last year I burned just over 4 tons (by a stray bag or 2) so I think I will be fine.

I like these pellets. They are, in my stove, very much like the Fireside Ultras I burned the last 2 years. Reasonable fines, low ash, great heat, small pellet size. I actually wrote (emailed) the company which got back to me right away. They are a hardwood/softwood blend - something which I like, as does Madame DeFarge, who loves the 'piney' smell of them.. They are not distributed by the company in NY at all, but HD must truck them in.
